Plunge 2011

Was right about this bike being a bad idea, we didn't have time to put the silencer on so she was just a little loud. Did a few laps up and down the street laying a nice smoke trail. Five minutes later there were nine cops in the driveway asking if we had a permit for that thing. We all laughed then the cops laughed and asked if we had any warrants. I think they were just jealous they couldn't ride it.

Amanda sent me these from a second hand shop when she was in Hjo Sweden. If she was a true friend she would have brought me the MV Agusta's back as a souvenirs. She gave me a candy cane from Granna instead, i ate half and the rest melted all over my desk. Thank you miss Popp.

Some pictures from the HRHD, saw some cool cars, met good people was good times. We ended up being part of the few that camped out in the rain that night. Pat and i got sick of sitting around watching the fire burn and decided to go for a late night ride in the mud around the camp. Some how we got split up and i remember being in third gear laughing across a muddy grass field at 12 am trying to follow his tracks. Made it back safe tied one off and slept in the cab of the 54 with water dripping on my face.  Bright and early the next day went on another ride, up a long rough dirt road and ripped down some streets until we had enough.

There was a sign on the car above telling a story of how the owner had passed before he was able to finish it, wish i could remember his name. His friends and family are taking it on as a project to finish as he would have wanted it. Thats what its all about.

Aaron Wiener's 1975-76 860gt done right with time and patience. He's been restoring the bike since 1994 and along the way added NCR Hailwood body work, super sport fairing, two into one exhaust, drilled rotor's, clipons,Tarozzi rear sets and the list goes on. More pictures to come from Aaron's garage, for now drool over these.

Danny Barbells Iron Head

             Dan crawled out of the woods of N.J this weekend with his bike in the bed of his truck and a box full of cables, old pipes and push rods.  He's already put a ton of work into his first bike and is still going strong.  I've seen many guys start projects and get bummed out that it actually takes work to get a bike on the road, especially in the dead of winter in a unheated garage.  Dont stop now, so close..      thats what she said.
