Kawasaki 750ltd

Took the 750 out for a good ride late last night for the first time since i bought it a few weeks ago. Was a solid 29 degrees out but i could have rode it all night. Have a old Gary Nixon front fairing and some other small things to add. More pictures to come later, for now here are a few shots.

Hibernation

 Tonight standing on ice and snow i helped Bob pack his bike up for the season. We waited until winter was in full swing so we both had a glass of knob creek to warm up before heading out to the alley where his bike will sleep until the ice melts.

I bought this CB550 off of a seasonal commercial fisherman living in central New Jersey. He said up until a few weeks ago he was riding it to Manhattan every weekend to visit his girlfriend. When i went to check it out, the cam chain was slapping around, it was running on 3 cylinders, had quick steel holding one of the carb bowls on and was missing all of the triple tree bolts.. he must be a brave fisherman. The bike was a mess and i wouldn't ride it down my driveway but it did come with a love sofa for a seat and 50 coats of spray paint so i loaded it up.
